St. Augustine, Fl Jaybirds Inn Hotel review

First impression

If you know St. Augustine, you know it's full of history and ghosts ️. Needless to say arriving there was a little hesitation. The hotel building  didn't look as nice as the other hotels that we passed, but the second we stepped foot inside we were blown away. The rooms and lobby were recently renovated

Lobby area

The Lobby was inviting. There was a cute bookshelf to exchange books while during our stay. There was enough seating to take pictures (see photoshoot below) while checking in. The checking in process was a little slow.

Room

The room was very modern and the color scheme was relaxing. Very simple designs throughout all the guest rooms. The bathrooms were spacious and there was enough counter room for toiletries.

Area

You will not find any food chain restaurants near this hotel. In walking distance you will find the hotels restaurant (try the pancakes!). Any small items you may have left at home can be purchased across the street at CVS.

The hotel provides bikes to get to the heart of St. Augustine. It's a nice bike ride to get to everything, but It was worth it because you will need to pay for parking when you get downtown.

Overall

On a scale from 1-5 (5 being the highest).... This hotel would be a 4. The food was GREAT, however the checking in process wasn't as swift (you will need to practice patience at this hotel)
